Spudland Racers Shatter Maine Marathon Relay Record

A late arrival, very little warm up time, a wild cruise along I-95 transporting runners and a 3 minute detour were not enough to stop the Spudland Racers on Sunday, October 1st as they cruised to an easy victory and a new course record in the 15th Annual Maine Marathon /Relay/Half Marathon. The racers; comprised of Jeffrey Sprague, Thomas Beckum, PJ Gorneault and Scotty Dorrity, completed the 26.1 miles in a time of 2:28:40. The old course record was 2:32:07 set in 2001 by PR Racing.
